FabFilter Saturn 2: Is there a way to make your modulation start at 2 different points?

i have a sub bass. i'm trying to modulate the pan of the drive parameter to go from wide on both sides (bipolar) to centered and narrow.

So far, all of the modulation options don't allow this. Even the Bipolar XY controller will only let you start from one point and end at one point. I'm trying to start from 2 points (hard L and hard R) and make those modulation points meet in the center.

Would i just have to duplicate the track to do this? I'm trying to avoid that if i have to.

Yeah you need to switch it to MS mode but that requires the source audio to be stereo, to be effective. Unfortunately Saturn doesn't give you separate left/right pan controls for the drive.. so mid/side mode is the only one that will let you go from stereo to mono and vice versa.

.. or if your DAW allows it, use two instances of Saturn where one is treating the left signal and the other the right signal.
