All (admittedly funny) jokes aside, the new GUI is definitely a downgrade and I hope they bring the old one back in future updates, at the very least as an option.

Put more vines on it, like growing onto the keyboard... like it's nature melding into technology all packed inside our emotionally powerful and moving preset library"...

I suspect someone from Oberheim suggested a more "realistic" rendition to reflect their hardware. They probably regard Gforce a marketing arm for their hardware business.
