Dear All,

I´ve never been much of a music listener on headphones. Headphones were primarily something I used to hear the sound from my DAW through with a flat response or while recording, in addition to my monitors.
But the past few weeks we´ve had family staying over, forcing me to spend a lot of time with headphones only while listening to music for pure pleasure, where I realized how great music can actually sound if you use headphones that adds a lot of color to the sound.
I found a pair of Creative Bluetooth headphones packed away. They are horrible to wear for a longer period of time, but I love how they try to make the sound more beautiful.
So now I´m considering to get something better for this purpose. Something that you can wear for as long as you like, that makes the sound big and beautiful - and with bluetooth.
I´ve seen that Bose advertises a lot for spatial audio and immersive sound, but my android phone, where all the sound will be coming from, also has built in something in this category. So I´m not so sure if there´s really a reason to invest in said headphones from Bose, if you can achieve the same via software?
So I´m hoping to limit my budget to around 100 EUR. Any recommendations for something that meets my needs?

Thanks, but their cheapest model is twice my budget.

At work, for a while I was using my Superlux HD 668B headphones with a tiny battery-powered Bluetooth receiver attached.

Those headphones are comfortable (especially with replacement ear pads; look for ones that fit AKG K240), hard to kill, and sound way better than they deserve to at the price.

Since the main cable detaches and leaves a jack behind, it's easy enough to plug a receiver in without a big wad of cable getting in the way. I wound up using double-sided tape to stick the receiver to the side; it's not as elegant as headphones that have Bluetooth natively, but it did the job. (I've gone back to a wired connection because of issues where someone in a neighboring office kept trying to pair with it.)

I work in my Sennheiser HD280 Pro's and somehow get a good mix out of the things 9 times out of 10.

I've tried Sony and Audio-Tekica, but they just don't seem to be as accurate to me, or as suited to dark ambient.

Admittedly not the best, but not $400 and comfy during looooong sessions.

I'm not sure to what extent this would meet your wearing 'em a long time criteria but for something that colors the sound a bit in the 'smile' EQ character but subtle, and is very good for spaciousness, Shure SRH440. but it'll be 130-150 euro range afaict.
The Sennheiser 280s are too flat for a "non-studio, overall music listening" set IME. Roman wants the flattering character.
If the extra 40 or 50 euro is a deal-killer, Audio-Technica AT30X is what I'm using (doing double-duty albeit not per flat reference monitoring), def going to come in under 100 euro. I paid $80 USD. Everything I've considered decent was close-backed and not all that lightweight. But I mix on the ATs until my ears get too tired to be of any use, so...

Thanks for the suggestions. Most of them however are cabled and not with bluetooth, which is what I´m after, as mentioned. Also, I should emphasize one more time that what I´m after is NOT for studio usage, but something with a big and beautiful sound that I can wear for hours.
And I´m still curious to know if software spatial audio/immersive audio (on Android) is as good as the hardware built in to Bose headphones.
What I forgot to mention is that I have no interest in paying extra for noise cancellation.

If I want it more "in the ear" more bass pronounced, I like the DT 240 PRO from Beyer.

In this case I would buy a JBL Headphone like the JBL Tune 720BT.

I read a review of them, where they´re saying that the below are much better. They´re just 40 EUR above my threshold. Do you know them?
