hi guys, i got 2 samples and i have problems with these to find and tune them :(

i got a hit here and i want to layer it with another hit sound "hit sound2". but they sound not correctly layered and i dunno how to find both root notes so they layer perfectly :( any tips?

c, d, e#, f#, g, g#, h

but i dunno how this vocal sample can be tuned or in which tune it is. is there maybe a tool how to find out and adjust to my scale?

Are you saying that you have:
1. Two samples that are unrelated that you want to turn into a layered hit by repitching one or both
2. A song (instrumental) containing the scale you listed above
3. A vocal that you want to combine with the first two elements
And all of these things are unrelated other than the fact that you want them to all go together?

Anyway,
I would use melda MAnalyser and turn on the peak tracking mode to find the fundamentals of the samples. They may not layer perfectly by matching the fundamental frequency but it will give you a starting point. You can use a free "auto tune" plugin to force the notes of the vocal to the notes of your track. Once that is set you can use your DAW's built in transposition to line up the melody until it's at least close to being tuned up to your track. Without way more info, that's all I can tell you (while only recommending free shit).
