Hi,
I'm in the market for a Gretsch guitar. Unfortunately, I cannot try a bunch of them in person, so I'd appreciate a piece of advice if you have any experience with this brand.
I need to decide between hollow body (G5420T) and center block (G5655T) models.
Had I been going strictly for rockabilly stuff, I'd just get a Brian Setzer model.

Are you gigging with it? The hollowbody will cause more feedback at loud volumes than the semi.
I've started to watch Setzer vids. Fun stuff.

I went with a PowerJet, a chambered solid body.
Mostly because it has a solid reach past the 12th fret, the hollow bodies all get in the way of playing past the 12th fret. Plus I generally play with a good amount of distortion. If that doesn't bother you then Bombadil's point is solid, acoustics will feedback with any amount of distortion, so semi is better unless you always play clean or are only using it to play clean.
