Anyone tried the Razor particle mod?
I changed the particles from the stock 320 to 520 and there was a significant improvement in the high frequencies

Yes - I upped mine to 1000

This is really lovely - a work of art really - one of the most sophisticated ensemble designs I've seen and it also integrates perfectly into Komplete Kontrol including lightguide - don't know how the creator managed that

Is there a modified ensemble? Or instructions how to do it?

This is very interesting! Thank you for bringing this. I will try it today. Possibly pumping the partials up to 512 or 1024 as I don't want Razor to be very heavy on the CPU.
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

Well… thanks to #martiu I’m rediscovering Reaktor.

Now the challenge is how do I use it in my music :hihi:

Well, regarding the Razor hack, I did it (1024 instead of 320 partials) and it sounds smoother now with more details. Not much CPU! But I like it not CPU hungry, so that is enough for me. I also set the 'Smoothing Quality' to high instead of Good.

If you use it in a track make sure you save the ensemble into your project folder.

Far from ideal in terms of patch management, but you'll be sure your project will be robustly backed up and you won't lose your realtor setup.
