Perhaps we will never hear about what's happened exactly.BJ wrote: Fri Oct 06, 2023 12:52 pm Well looks like all the TAL stuff has been removed from the audiodeluxe site now.

I also thought so. No pricing error, but wrong assumption. They could have easily doubled it.

Does the TAL DRUM have that feature that allows one sample to be played in different pitches?
I mean I put a Hat on E4, and I want E4 through E5 to play that same sample but in a higher pitch with each key press through that octave. Battery can do it but its UI is unusable in 4k.

What a mess. Some people received the licence, some didn’t. Presumably never will. I would 100% opt for the licence rather than refund. How naive of me, I might not get anything after all:D
Has anyone contacted Audio Deluxe yet or are you just waiting for the 24h to pass?

I'd wait it out. Maybe Audio Deluxe will put this stuff back on sale. Maybe they'll be forced to apologize and issue refunds. In the end, no one's going to lose cash on this except for AD.

I added them to my cart while the sale was still on but didn't buy right away.Examigan wrote: Thu Oct 05, 2023 11:32 pm Does it let you put them in the cart? It seems it wouldn't work if they're out of stock.
They are still there now except the prices have returned to normal and when I click on them it leads to empty pages.

Yes, you can use the Make chromatic function to copy and paste a pad to other pads. This function will automatically change the pitch of those pads. A bit different from other samplers, but it works.Fornicras wrote: Fri Oct 06, 2023 1:36 pm Does the TAL DRUM have that feature that allows one sample to be played in different pitches?

If they removed TAL products then they're fully aware of the response and know people are waiting for their license codes. I'm not particularly happy as this is my first purchase from this company. I don't blame TAL at all.

I agree. I've been running the Tal Drum demo but I can only take the demo noise for a couple of minutes before it makes me want to go on a killing spree.audiouser720 wrote: Fri Oct 06, 2023 2:14 pm At the moment the white burst is ripping my head apart, impossible to demo
He needs to dial back the volume, duration, and how often the demo noise appears a bit.
Having said that I still plan on buying Tal Drums at some point. But having seen the recent sale price it will be psychologically hard to pay full price. Not saying it's not worth $60 as that's already a fair price but after a series of unexpected home and auto repairs my budget is kind of beat up at the moment so I have to make every dollar count for now.
Hopefully around Black Friday there will be a sale or by then I'll have more in my software budget.

Still waiting for licenses of J-8 en IK Tape 80.
It wasn't really that i needed the J-8 as I already have Jup-8 V, but at that price, couldn't resist.
