I know. After seeing the movie I kept hearing scratching in the attic. It terrified me for a couple of nights, then turned out to be a squirrel that got in. My favorite line is from the censor dubbed version they showed on some cable channel: 'Your mother knits socks in hell'. I bust out after that line and I still cackle when I think about it.

when I was a kid, and they would have the cleaned version on tv, I would always be thinking "sounds pretty bad..." when she said stuff like that 
Plus, like you said about the squirrel in the attic, it's hilarious to me to think how our brains do stuff like that. You are terrified, thinking about her, the devil, etc, meanwhile there is a squirrel loose in the attic!
