Despite the fact that people as customers were let down (doesn’t matter by who) everyone behaved quite calm and humorous.
Next time you pay for something cheap but you don’t receive it in the end, just walk away and say nothing, good? Now you can go and carry on counting your 1s and 0s![]()
Why do you think I was objecting your right to get goods and services? I didn't.
I think you didn't understant what I was stating and to whom.

Very much... It is quite surprising to see people so upset over 10 bucks...
I am somehow jealous, that means they have no bigger problems than that ...

I got this mail from AD last night:
Hi,
Sorry for the long delay on your order.
The promotion for TAL Software was agreed upon between the US Distributor and TAL Software. We ran the promotion as provided to us many weeks ago.
This was not a pricing mistake by us and in line with the many promotions we are running during our Anniversary sale.
We were informed today by the US Distributor that a dispute arose between them and TAL Software and they would not be supplying any more licenses for any outstanding orders and have ended the promotion.
A full refund has been issued for your Order XXXXxx
In addition, we have deposited $5 DeluxeBucks in your account to be used on anything in the future.
Please allow up to 48 hours for your refund to post to your original payment method.
Deepest apologies from The AudioDeluxe Team.

Refusing to honor paid orders without even a statement is a very unprofessional move from TAL.Dark Fiber wrote: Wed Oct 11, 2023 7:04 am Wouldn't it be neat for Patrick (or whoever is behind TAL) to shed some light on this situation?
Not communicating about it feels so weak to me.
His/their choose, but I won't buy TAL software anymore.

I feel entitled to a $5 deposit of DeluxeBucks after reading this thread. It is the least they could do.

I've paid € 19,09 for J-8 and Drum but now I get € 17,89 refunded
And I don't care about some free DeluxeBucks.
Anyhow, there are way bigger problems in the world right now so moving on...

Seems to have been some kind of communication error with the middle man distributor supplying keys to AudioDeluxe

And why?egbert101 wrote: Wed Oct 11, 2023 8:42 am Well, good they finally refunded but won't be doing business with Audiodeluxe again.
it was not AD's fault but TAL's.
Audiodeluxe - although it shouldn't - tries to provide compensation. TAL doesn't care.
