Maybe the zoomers just love this stuff? I know boomers still cling on to the hope of owning instruments and controlling their own PC (becoming ever more impossible).

I sent their support an email suggesting they have a basic version with paid ad ons. Subscription only is doomed to fail

Minimal Audio have been one of my fave companies in recent memory. Always stoked for a new release. And now a subscription for their flagship product and first synth? I can’t express how disappointed I am now. This is a massive PR disaster & a fall from grace.

Even if they backtrack, I can’t forget that they pulled this move. I’m gutted.

Not being a drama queen in the slightest. The damage is done. I likely won't buy anything from Minimal in the future, because they are now on my radar as a bad company to deal with. That will be all I remember about them. In future years I likely won't remember why, but I'll just remember that fact. They're the ones losing business, not us. No skin off my nose at all, but I think their nose has just had major surgery, possibly of Michael Jackson proportions.
