Hey guys, I'm a little confused with this. I'm working on a bud's Mac trying to install a 64bit version of BBD for him from here:
https://www.fullbucket.de/music/fbdelay.html
According this resource I have found:
https://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/howtouse ... Effects%2F.
It shows to install the .dll file into the 'Sound Effect' folder in VDJ, can anyone tell me exactly which file I should be downloading from the BBD page to get the .dll file please?

I recommend to download and use the Mac version of the Full Bucket Brigade Delay, not the Windows (DLL) version. Also make sure to read my Mac installation hints.

Well, don't know what I'm doing wrong, after it showed as installed successfully, I am seeing all of these items are in place:
After successful installation,
the Audio Units plug-in will be placed under /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components
and the VST plug-in will be placed under /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST
and the VST3 plug-in will be placed under /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3
Except for the CLAP.
[Please note that the "N" versions do not feature the VST3 format!]
and the CLAP plug-in will be placed under /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/CLAP
[Please note that the "N" versions do not feature the CLAP format!]
then rebooted the Mac twice but the fx still doesn't show in the decks?

So the page you link to says the virtualDJ software needs the plugin to be in its own custom folder, not the standard folders...According this resource I have found:
https://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/howtouse ... Effects%2F.
It shows to install the .dll file into the 'Sound Effect' folder in VDJ
and you yourself are saying that the plugins are not in that folder, they're in standard locations, and that you havent moved them. is that right? To use a VST effect with VirtualDJ simply install the VST on your computer.
Then copy the DLL file (Windows) or VST file (MacOS) from the VST install directory to VirtualDJ plugin directory found at /documents/VirtualDJ/Plugins64/SoundEffects/.
If the VST is still in those locations, its in the wrong place for the virtualdj software.mikehende wrote: Thu Oct 12, 2023 2:50 pm Well, don't know what I'm doing wrong, after it showed as installed successfully, I am seeing all of these items are in place:
