A battle won - but stay vigilant.

Your little victory has left them lusting for revenge - listen closely, one can hear them plotting already. Planning another... update.

What will 1.7 bring?
A triangular GUI (square windows break immersion - there are no squares in nature!)?
Labels spelled backwards (to make us rediscover reading)?
Black text on a black background with black controls (minimalism makes mindful, for the ultimate immersion)?

SEM, OB-E, Minimonsta2, and Oddity3 are on sale right now for those who haven't checked the site,
or have been thinking about getting them:

Just bought the GForce SEM and I see it comes with a free expansion (Plughugger Collection). But as far as I can tell there's no way to import a 3rd party preset bank into the SEM. There's supposed to be an "Import" function somewhere but damned if I can find it. Was anyone able to import the free expansion pack? If so how did you do it? Thanks.

Post

in the browser, click on the folder icon and then find the import button in the right panel.

Thanks, but here's what I see when I click the folder icon. No Import button at all. I know their other synths have an Import button but I don't see it anywhere in the SEM. Not sure why the Import is not displayed, at least on the version I am running.

Thanks. Where do you switch to extended mode? I must be missing it in the UI, I don't see any place to switch mode.

Edit: Sorry I see your screen shot now showing where to switch modes.

And I see Import mode now that it's in Extended mode. Thanks for the help.

Sorry, I added the image to my post. It's on the upper-right corner.

Post

sorry, i didn't realize one needed to be in extended mode to see the import button. i just stay in that mode by default.

Post

Same here. Extended mode all the time. I only knew about this because GForce told me.

I just picked this up in the sale, and was surprised they hadn't added their usual XLFO/XADSR controls.
Every day takes figuring out all over again how to f#ckin’ live.

Yeah not all of their synths have them.

I was disappointed when the re-vamped impOSCar3 didn't have them either.
When you get used to using XLFO/XADSR , it's hard to do without them.
They would add a lot to SEM and the other Gforce stuff that doesn't have them.
