an incredible human, selfless to a vault, giving and caring. i have had over 10 situations where tal did things for me that no other developer did or offered to make me a satisfied customer. one man constantly updates free software and even releases new products for free. anybody that sees tal in the wrong are the same kind of people who would buy a computer, get a second one free by mistake and then have a shitfit when they realize that the computer they got for free includes a 4k gaming monitor which was missing from the box. people like this do not deserve patricks presence, respect, and they damn well do not deserve his generosity or business!

There is no desired side here. Fans (marketing victims) are being fans at their own expense.Jac459 wrote: Sat Oct 14, 2023 10:28 am Saying after that if we are not in the desired side we are a pro-business or fanboy or whatever is a bit petty in my view.
I can’t care less if my favorite dev accepted sale terms that he couldn’t understand because of not hiring an English <> Deutsch translator and that led him to the situation to give away a batch of licenses. That’s his problem.
But it’s still cute watching all that over exaggerated drama unfolding over a single sale and all the people losing their minds over the very idea that someone got something on sale for 13% of the price they paid
Like it or not, it’s not the love
If the TAL thingie is not an pricing error, i'm done with him. Sad, because i really liked the company. He can't really think it's a good idea to alienate customers who paid much more for the same.

And? Both reasons for being upset about this incident are perfectly legitimate. There are people who paid 7 times more. What do you think they feel like? You wanted the same for much much cheaper and had to wait or didn't get it because it was a mistake. In the case of that comment it's now clear TAL didn't do it intentionally so the condition isn't met anymore. Stop this useless drama stuff and may find another hobby.equisonus wrote: Sat Oct 14, 2023 11:33 am Like it or not, it’s not the lovefor the creator that provoked comments like this one in another forum:
