Absolute hidden gem of a plugin.

It's essentially three granular engines running together.

Cannot recommend it highly enough.
thanks for that, i try to get all granulators i can find, except Crusher X, it is too expensive

We must be soulbrothers

edit: figured it out vs. discord vs. Kentaro / OT deleted

each Tool will deliver different outcomes.
Grainspace can feel and sound quite different, dependend on the settings.
I usually CC map ALOTS of controls when i use it, and just would "realtime-jam" away.
Its an art initself with Grainspace to find sweetspot areas, then jam within those.
you can´t "replace" it with anything other i´d say.
To me, all these tools are so so so different.
The trick is to find the ones that fist "you" and your usecases.

I wouldn’t really mind the price if I could get over its interface, which I feel is pretty terrible for a commercial product. I’ve been using granular effects since River Run (Part of a long discontinued Nautilus Effects bundle by Audio Ease) and I could barely figure it out. I like a lot of options, but at some point, things get out of hand for me.

it's auto chroma for me. I like the instant render function and the multiple channels allow for some nice granular harmonies. Not 100% sold, the LFO doesn't appear to allow more than sine waves and the filter could use more resonance. But not deal breakers and perhaps someone could correct me on those things

The interface is fantastic. It's one of the best parts of the effect.

From left to right you have scanner position modes, spacing, frequency and duration, pitch, grain envelope, filter, panning and volume.

Extended parameters indicated by an arrow where applicable.

Each engine is the same. Double click the number to activate and right click on each engine number to copy from one engine to another.

Modulation is literally drag the dot onto the parameter you want to modulate and use the standard mouse up and down to control modulation depth. Right click if you want unipolar function.

The little window in the bottom is the buffer which you can drag as audio into your daw or back into the plugin itself.

I had the whole plugin figured out in about 5 minutes.

It also looks beautiful.

I don't know what could be clearer.

Fragments or Silo are far more opaque to me.

This is really cool. Thank you.
Unlike other granulor effects, it is easy to produce musical results.
The capture function is amazing too.
It must have been created by a creative musician.

You must be a genius, then. I see it as cluttered and confusing. I was rolling my own in Fragments right away. I must be a different kind of genius.

I am definitely no genius but I am with Kraster on this one. I really like the interface and have found Autochroma very easy to use.

unaccessible ? was it not about Crusher X ....and not autochroma ?
