Yes also avenger and rapid have extreme long preset loading times. On Korg Modewave also see all parameters changing on my push. It’s the same behaviour than avenger and rapid. Only with vst3.
Do you know if Ableton is going to eliminate this behaviour?

We've discussed it with a developer at Ableton, who was aware of the issue. Anything more is a question for Ableton - please let them know!

There is also an other strange behaviour, when I want to modify x,y pad, the both cutoffs and the 4 macro knobs on my push3, after a preset change the 8 values disappear from push3 but I still see them diplayed midi configure panel. Maybe it has something to do with the 4 macro parameters, because they change their name for every preset.
On other synths that change also the name, I don’t get the same issue. Also wavestate and opsix don’t share this behaviour

I don't have a Push here, so I can't test this. Have you contacted Ableton?

I opened only a ticket for avenger and rapid, they where able to reproduce this issue, but it’s a half year ago and nothing happened. For me it was no big problem because I can use the vst2 versions without these issues.
Now I have demoed Modwave and have the same issues. I also tried Opsix and wavestste, they show the same issue. I‘ll open a second ticket, referring to my old ticket, and will show them the behaviour with Push3 also. I also have tested push2, which still works fine without this issue.
Also push3 is crashing Ableton with modwave, when you map these midi settings and turn it on and off.

I wanted to buy Modwave from pluginboutique on sale, but now I have to wait until Ableton is able to fix it. I am on windows and Ableton is my major DAW. On bitwig everything works fine.

Crashing with Push 3 seems unfortunate. You note that it works well with Push 2, so that seems like another Ableton issue unfortunately. They are an awesome company with great products, so I'm sure that they'll be able to fix it. I'll send a note to my contact there and offer our assistance.

Yes - any software purchased from Korg cannot be transfered = it's yours forever

I don't think Korg software can be transfered. Some people are selling their accounts but not licenses.

I have asked Ableton about my bug report of slow VST3 preset change, which I started in 2022 and no fix happened. They told me they have no capacity to fix it, because not much users have reported the issue of slow preset change under Ableton live with some VST3 synths.
So Ableton won’t fix until much more users are reporting the same issue.
I have this issue with all Gforce, Vengeance Avenger, Minimal Audio Current and all Korg Plugins.
They recommend me as workaround the VST2 Version but there is no Wavemod VST3 and with these long preset change times I won’t buy Wavemod, Opsix or Wavestate.
Maybe you can fix it on your own.
Parawave Rapid has fixed this issue in their latest release and now all presets change are as fast as VST2 ….
Maybe it has something to do with midi mapping, because all parameters are displayed on my push3 or APC40

I just picked up this plug in. I've had it on the radar for ages but had projects on the go that I wouldn't have added it too.

This thing really has it's own sound and sounds great to me. It's probably not perfect for everything, but it just sounds really fantastic for broad reaches of sound type.

Going to take ages to learn as it seems very deep, but I think it'll quickly become one of my go to instruments. I tried it to make an arpegggiated sound and very quickly got a sound that was just magical. With just that one sound I feel it's already justified itself.

What a cracking instrument.

I’d love to wake up one morning, log onto KVR and read an announcement for an updated KORG Modwave with a high-quality, MPE-enabled key bed and 61 keys.

I’d also like a larger, on-board Kaoss Pad for more comfortable, real-time performances. But alas, that would probably double or triple the price tag from the get go.

I am really surprised that they haven’t offered a 61 key version for their product line, like they did for the Wavestate and Opsix. But it could be that supply-chain related issues are making it nearly impossible.

is it possible to randomize all parameters at once? i tried randomization and it seems possible to only select individual parts for randomization one by one, but i still haven't found a way to randomize everything at once.
