Thank f*cking god for this post! I made an account on this music making forum only to tell you that you saved me so much time by knowing which file to remove. This driver was required for a DNA sequence aligning tool that I wanted for my degree project. I probably would've had to go through my entire drive for this one if it wasn't for you. Cheers!

I want to share a really bad experience I had recently with my PC, and i'm sure that many of you have seen this mentioned on other pages or even had it yourself. Is about the PACE license support, used by many softwares, being the most notorious Pro Tools and AIR Music Technology.
To think you went to all this bother to save someone else in the same predicament is really commendable. I was lucky I was able to fix the issue with a simple system restore, but my next step would have been reinstalling windows, that would have been a giant PITA.

Thank You!

Hey I followed all the steps but when I'm trying to enter the Windows folder on Linux, it gives me an input/output error "The contents of this folder cannot be displayed". What can I do? Any help would be so much appreciated
