VOSIM, Bowed String and Harmonic Resonator look pretty sweet. And great to see Opal added to the effects. Snowflakes seems interesting too. Particularly love to see the templates at start-up and the new preset library features. And MIDI Out of course.

Download speed is extremely slow here in northern Germany. My internet connection works normally, so it seems to be your server or something. Can fix this, please? I cannot download the factory library with this low speed.

It’s always the same the day UVI releases anything major. Big demand and a small pipe. I’m agreeing with you it needs sorting out, but this has happened literally every time so I am saying don’t hold your breath.

Do other people also get an error with Meditation Pluck from the MPE category? If so, we all need to download the whole factory library again. Here, the error message says: Unable to mount the Volume from "/Users/theogallenne/Documents/UVI/BANQUES/Falcon Factory.ufs (File not found)

Just been playing with the MIDI out. Didn't RTFM and dived in so got what I deserved initially, nothing or it just echoed a key pressed, but then found that I could get MIDI out successfully from a layer in Quadra by going into Tree view, right clicking on say Layer A and choosing Add Event Processor > MIDI Out.
Have now found out how to set output channel. Didn't see before if I click into the MIDI Out strip it brings up a simple channel selector on the RHS like this works brilliantly. Great stuff!
Now I can use some of the great patterns in Quadra with a bunch of other instruments so it doesn't become so stale.
Got this output when using Percussion Factory and adding a MIDI Out on each slot so Slot 1 -> MIDI channel 1, Slot 2 -> MIDI channel 2 etc. It seems a really simple and effective implementation and I had almost given up hope we'd get it. I thought maybe the most we might see is output for an arpeggiator, but looks like this lets us output MIDI to whatever channel we want at whatever stage we want. I may have to look into using lua for the first time since I hacked some RPG scripts decades ago.

Had a quick look at the new modules. All good stuff, and funnily enough the disperser effect is really useful. That will allow for a lot more options in playing with kicks and other percussion samples. I like the UI aesthetic tweaks.
I share the same sentiments as others in terms of workflow. I've used Falcon a lot for drums and it would make a world of difference to be able to easily reorganise the layers and/or keygroups. I've been assuming that the complex scripting options make that kind of flexibility tricky... perhaps... as every item needs a fixed place in the hierarchy... not sure if that makes sense. So maybe it's not going to happen?

Nah, mostly I always have these low speeds on the uvi server. Also a friend from sweden reported that he downloaded Falcon 3.0 with 9mb/s. Yesterday. So there seems to something really wrong with the server connection.
