i googled "2012 hit songs"...
the only songs that i have in my music collections were:
ho hey by the lumineers
diamonds by rhianna
i will wait by mumford & sons
i recognize these others but they are not in my collection:

Well 2012 seems to have been a 'not so good' year for Music in general. Akai Rhythm Wolf, Arturia Minibrute... not too many Highlights, even checking the VST Releases. Taking 1984 into Perspective, with the Release of the TR 909 and the Juno 106 alone... not really sure what the Mayan had in Mind with that Prophecy.
