Love the sounds but Roland Cloud is so frustrating. Uninstalled it a few days ago.

If anything in RC sounds like absolute poop it's the SRX stuff. damn. downloaded a D50 update tonight and now 7 error messages about not being able to connect to the cloud. come on man.

I have everything unchecked in Logic except for zenology pro / d50 / jd800 and the system-8 plugin. The rest I don't use anymore. Tried the Jupiter8 yesterday again, damn it sounds very muffled in comparison to the arturia and tal versions. I unloaded it after checking a few patches and /shrugged. And thats without the RC crap surrounding it even.

How? Rolands version is the cleariest and cleaniest.

I don't find it muffled at all. I have tal and arturia as well and fond roland the brightest of them.

It's odd, everytime I try the RC Jupiter 8 I feel underwhelmed. Videos of the hardware seem to sound a little better but not by much. I prefer the Junos and the Jup 4 which suprised me.

I wonder how much of the J8's popularity was down to it being more reliable on tour and in the studio..and I think it was also a bit cheaper than the Prophets and big Oberheims?

muffled as in buried, not as direct sounding somehow. Tal and arturias ones are more in your face. Low energy as mr 45 would say. YOu dont have to agree ofc, but that how I feel about em. Same goes for the Juno60 and the SH101 (TAL versions are freaking direct in your face, very ballsy)

I also did load in arturias version and I found it very more inspiring than the RC version. My Go-to is always the TAL J-8 version
