Better go the plugin route then. The cheaper pedals won’t give you that sound.

I sometimes miss my old 15W solid state Pro-Amp “Demon” amp but only because it made the greatest sound from the reverb tank when you dropped it; the sound from the amp itself was woeful.

Thanks, I've looked at the Danelectro. Has springs inside with a patch to kick it. It's an option. So is the one Uncle E suggested, though my Missus would prefer not. Dental crowns used up a good chunk of discretionary income this summer. The Noodlist wrote: Sun Oct 22, 2023 3:45 pmDanelectro Spring King Reverb £110Bombadil wrote: Sun Oct 22, 2023 11:01 am I'm looking for a 'real' sounding spring 'verb. Thing about a pedal is, you use it, you're committed.
There's a new Waves plugin that looks interesting.

Not a lot out there on this. But, 35€ I can afford.

It is pretty impressive. So is the €. Just looked on fleabay ads, other Source Audio stuff, but not that.
That would look to be the way I want to go. If I want it for Xmas, I can have it.
The question is, do I want those tonez to the tune of 289€.

Are they that expensive out there? Used True Spring pedals sell for around $150 in the US.

New ones are $239 here. I could ship one to you for that price, including shipping costs.

I'd still have to pay customs duty andwhatever else, so it would probably not be woth the expense and hassle for either of us. Thanks for the offer, though.

Ok. Just burst that GAS bubble with IK's Sunset Studio, which has a spring. Not 'drippy,' lol, but pretty nice. I'll keep my powder dry and the money in my my pocket.
For now....

not in stock. If I do it, it will be a Christmas present. I'm sceptical, though. Lotta money for something like that. I mean, it does what it does well, but will I use it enough to make it worth the money? I like Tonex with a decent verb on it, but playing a captured Fender isn't the same without a good spring.

It also has 3 different tremolo effects. Me being a brownface Fender lover, the harmonic mode alone is worth half the price.
