No PWM would be a dealbreaker for me. I realize the original Minimoog didn't feature PWM. But it was a far poorer synth for it.

Initially I was interested in this, but since then I purchased a Nina, which has a very Moog style tone, though the resonance is a bit more sharp sounding at the top of its range. Plus it has PWM, and a third wavetable oscillator, that can run as an LFO. The Polysource is going to make a lot of people happy, but it’s not for me.

My ATC-X has Model D cloned oscillators and one of its four filers is modeled after the Moog ladder, but it has PWM and oscillator sync. I’ll never understand why Moog was so hesitant to include those things for so long. Studio Electronics makes the Moogs that Moog should be making.

With Moog being bought out by InMusic and moving manufacturing to Taiwan, who knows what they'll be making in the future. Hopefully prices come down and quality control comes up. Bummer for the Moog employees, but it really did seem like QC had been a longstanding issue.

Having played a Moog source a long time ago, which sounds rich and sweet, if they get it sounding similar it will be great

But it needs electronic tuning and calibration, I past getting synths that need trimpot fiddling.
Plus the interface wasn't great...

Behringer can do auto tuning / calibration circuits and do it well. They Deepmind series is an example. Hopefully they'll pull from that machine and apply it here.

The pro 800 has autotune button so i guess it won't be any different on the Polysource and after looking closer on the Polysource picture it has the same tune button on the same spot as the Pro 800.
