I need advise on how to use Soonicoutures "Moonkits"/Kontakt player in DAW such as PT, Cubase etc. Cannot find any instructions in the manual. A working workflow would be great. Is there anyone that can help? How do get the grooves to appear in a DAW f ex? Adding fills etc? I guess the recent Sun drums has a similar design, som maybe someone using thet could have som advice too!

For any DAW such as PT, Cubase etc, open your DAW, create a track capable of hosting an instrument plugin, load the Kontakt plugin into that track, load the Moonkit instrument into Kontakt, trigger the specific notes you want via MIDI or the Kontakt keyboard.fransmo wrote: Tue Oct 24, 2023 10:52 am I need advise on how to use Soonicoutures "Moonkits"/Kontakt player in DAW such as PT, Cubase etc.
Any specifics would vary according to the actual DAW.

I understand that much but If I use Moonkits f.ex. in ProTools and I want to use one of the patterns in Moonkits and then change patterns and/or sounds for ex in verse 2 I don´t know how too handle this best. Any advice?

Moonkits lets you drag patterns out into your DAW as MIDI files. You can make as many as you want that way and then assemble them into a song. When it comes to exporting, just make sure the built-in pattern sequencer isn't playing, I guess.
