I like it so far. I wasted my demo with Infiltrator, didn’t have time to test it. Could someone say how they compare particularly for usable-sounding results across genres, adding some nice texture and interest, not so much focus on glitch or way out there stuff (although both can likely do that). Thanks!

Motion is not just an LFO tool. I mean, You can use as a triggering effect and so on, but it is a multi-effect plugin too. They have included all of their distortion, filter modules and so on in the effect section. Most of the Pigments effects are there

So I took the plunge and took advantage of the crossgrade FX 4 / motion deal
I demoed infiltrator 2 and after a week it wins over arturias EFX motion but I find EFX suitable for my needs where I need some suitable movement on a section of a track and or even balls out mayhem ,out of all glitch plug ins I’ve demoed EFX motion is my second favorite hands down
I think it’s way batter than most of the competition though and way easier than stutteredit2 which is just a PITA to program

As someone who already owns Glitch2, Shaperbox 3, Infiltrator 2, and previously owned Stutter Edit 2, I’d say it’s worth it. Stutter Edit 2 got sold because it was still a pain in the ass to use even after introduction of the DAW timing playback.damoog wrote: Wed Oct 25, 2023 1:46 pm So I took the plunge and took advantage of the crossgrade FX 4 / motion deal

Reading this back I just want to clarify that there was no intent to sound like I was wealthily bragging — because I’m not wealthy — but rather that I’m just REALLY bad at making good financial decisions…

Arturia in the future let people save their settings even after the demo time expired. Once I put a ton of work into a sound I'm likely to buy the tool. But when I open a project and none of my work is saved because I was demoing your tool and it timed out before I saved it's just as easy to remove the tool and use something else to recreate what I am looking for.

Agree it’s silly you can’t save… I’ve made a few nice patches but can’t hear them anymore so relying on memory — dumb move.ROTMetro wrote: Fri Oct 27, 2023 10:13 pm Arturia in the future let people save their settings even after the demo time expired. For $29, this plugin is a no-brainer. I was not sure about buying it as I have Infiltrator 2 and Tantra 2 among some other multi-FX plugins, but I couldn't resist for the price and what I heard in the audio demos. Started playing around with some presets and I find this to be a very useful, and more importantly, quicker way to get nice and musical sound effects from subtle to extreme in your songs. Simply throw it on you any track, flip through some presets, and you are good to go. GUI is beautiful and invites tweaking.
Hats off to Arturia for another excellent effect plugin.

I have every plugin in the FX collection apart from the rotary speaker thing, I get €49 as the price. How come?LoveEnigma18 wrote: Sat Oct 28, 2023 11:44 am For $29, this plugin is a no-brainer. I think the $29 crossgrade price is only for "FX Collection 4" owners.Fornicras wrote: Sat Oct 28, 2023 1:51 pmI have every plugin in the FX collection apart from the rotary speaker thing, I get €49 as the price. I frankly haven't used it once since trying it out one time after I bought it. I mainly got it because of the upgrade to the FX Collection. Not a fan at all of such multi fx units. I much rather do a plugin chain.

I just installed this (full version) today, and none of the presets show up in the Preset screen (the one with the tags and search bar). They DO show up in the preset dropdown menu.
Is this what everyone else is seeing? I've uninstalled and reinstalled, but I get the same result.

Same! I installed some third-party presets and I can see them in the drop down preset menu together with every other preset, but the pack itself does not show on the preset pack search bar.jsp1979 wrote: Mon Nov 06, 2023 1:09 am I just installed this (full version) today, and none of the presets show up in the Preset screen (the one with the tags and search bar).
