How big do you guys think Minimal Audio is? From what I gather, it's a small crew. Bootstrapping a company doesn't leave a lot of time for forum scrolling, especially when it's a very small outfit and just really starting to get traction in the marketplace.

Yeah, I originally thought it was a growth hack as well, but I don't think it was. I think it was an honest mistake and got judged harshly in the court of public opinion.

They have responded admirably and we'll see how it plays out. No doubt Minimal Audio makes good products and I do wish them all the success in the world.

Because all examples on YouTube is more dirty - basses, leads for dubstep, dnb...

Totally agree.
Everytimes I had to communicate with them being for support or sales inquery, they responded quickly and accurately.
They may have did mistakes with this launch, but I'll definitely keep supporting them as a customer.

Would love to see MA include some stream content that is more Ambient/IDM/Electronica leaning.

I didn't have time to read and follow the whole thread but is there a plan from MA to release a normal demo/trial simply downloadable, without having to subscribe with bank data to fill?

I´m not one hundred percent sure but I remember reading that PayPal will be available when the perpetual plan is added. At the moment, we can only download the demo if we choose subscription and thus have to disclose our bank details. Which is of course very unfortunate. But give them a bit time to sort things out..

So many!
What I’m saying is that unless they are giving it for free, you need to disclose your bank data to download the demo and that could be the reason why you are not seeing it almost anywhere but from the ones that it was given, here and there.
YouTubers are eager to get as many views as possible and a New Synth on the block is the ideal video to publish in order to stay relevant… but you rather wait for a reasonable download policy.

So…. It’s not “everyday” but rather where…

As for me there was enough about 3 videos to understand, that it is great synth, I would want to get. But in the end I need proper demo, to try it by myself. So waiting patiently. No need to moan about everyday YouTube videos.
