Waldorf has just released Largo 2. It's not a completely new plugin but a major update.
New Features + Improvements
+ new formant filters
+ improved UI + scalability
+ 64bit native Apple Silicon
Not a massive release but good to see the update

Yeah same, but i just worked a bit with my press version. It looks better than the original. But the design is a bit old-fashion but fits to Waldorf

Check my article, I found a way to get it for a better price If you enjoy the sound of Waldorf and of the Blofeld, the plugin is worth it.

Yes, not perfect. The details like changing the filter types, and the drive curve still is super tiny and fiddly. But I was never a fan of the original Largo UI. This can only be better, at last for me

Same, but, man, when I take a look at that GUI... looks like they let the toilet guy make the GUI in his spare time.
I can't believe that that's Waldorf's aspiration. The GUI of version 1 was nice, and, Axel Hartmann's did a lot of good stuff for Waldorf. Looks like the guy who ported the synth was also responsible for the GUI in this case. Shows that he's not a designer IMO... Colour choice is horrible, and, the design of the GUI elements looks like something I'd to in 5 minutes in Microsoft Paint.

My initial reaction is disappointment. Not a fan of that colour scheme at all. It looks like something Rob Papen would make in his nightmares. Why make a bright white interface instead of something less likely to make your eyes bleed? I have the image at near full screen size and I can barely make out the tiny little red text on the displays, it's comically small.
Still waiting for the email so I can download the trial. I hate demos that ask for personal details like address and phone number so I typically give the current UK Prime Minister's name and address...

gui design is fiddly for sure but it sounds good and different like it always has... updated for apple silicon which is nice. the preset browser is still a bit.. uhm.. weird.
i'm glad to have it though. it's different than other synths i have. it has its own character. that icy precision or whatever.

Similar in design to Streichfett which isn't bad, but Largo's color scheme isn't helping.

I don't like the new GUI either. I prefer the old one tbh.
