And, frankly, with my money, I would tell Waldorf that they did a great job with that GUI, which I think they haven't. It looks cheap, quickly thrown together, and amateurish.

Oh please. I've seen far, far worse on top selling plugins.

Maybe not "top selling," but just take your pick of any Tone2 synth plugin, for instance. They all sound fantastic, IMO. But I wouldn't buy a single one because they look god-awful. Largo 2 looks like the Mona Lisa by comparison.

I don't have the eyesight to interpret this GUI. I just got it and this Thread is already on page 6. Is there a way to change the skin? Thank you for your patience.

May I politely suggest you buy a larger monitor. They are extremely affordable these days. After all, Largo 2 is resizeable. So you can increase its size to whatever size your eyesight requires.

My monitor is quite large. I don't want to brag. Size isn't everything after all. I've written in to Waldorf now to share my concern with them. Thank you for your reply.

This should really be a free update for existing owners given the lack of real changes, lots of companies provide more improvements and charge nothing.

If you know anything about accessibility at all, you would know it's not about monitor size, exclusively. In fact, I have a 32" 4K monitor which causes all kinds of trouble with poorly designed GUIs. I could run the monitor at 1080p but that defeats the purpose. GUI design has to consider accessibility: colour choice (3:1 contrast ratio for graphics), text (label) size (12pt equivalent, minimum), keyboard access/control and resizability. This exposes a glaring hole in their understanding of interface design and willingness to adapt for over 5% (Canada, but extrapolate) of their customers who have very real visual disabilities (and loads of others with common age-related reduced eyesight capability). The colour contrast thing is the easiest to resolve: don't do dark-on-dark, or light-on-light graphics. They did anyway! Clueless!

They have fixed the shop now so i bought it last night
The new gui makes my brain fry compared to the nice looking old gui and i hate Small dark red text on black which makes it very hard to read (It should be white).

The "upgrade" fee is so they can fire the GUI creator - and the manager who approved the release - and go through a new hiring process.

"Hey, let's do a Largo 2, with Apple Sillicon compatibility, a new, resizable GUI, some new formant filters, and some extras!"
"Ok then. Let's call Axel, he did some great synth design for us in the past."
"Hmm... but he's expensive, and, we really can't afford him for the money we take for Largo 2."
"Mmmmh... Ok then. Let the guy who ports the synth do the GUI then. He just takes a few of the GUI elements from Streichfett, and does a new GUI for Largo with that."
"Deal!"

I have the same problem with Korg oddysey and Gforce Oddysey too.
Why the Tiny Dark red text on black?
It is almost like the gui designers of those plugins have their Contrast set to max which is the only way to see things properly.
