You need to load the wav files into the NN-19/NN-XT editors, you are trying to load sampler patches right now it seems.
Slicing you'll have to do in recycle (if you decide to stick wtih reason, investing in recycle is definitely worth it).

Its actually a good thing so you don't get tempted to use something that sounds totally crap unless its not realtime

IMO the ability to route CVs, trigs, and gates is a large part of what makes Reason so powerful. There's nothing to compare to that in the VST world, is there?

toz, you can't go wrong with Live4 and Reason. They work together perfectly. The cool thing about rewire is that you can sequence in either one. You could sequence all your stuff in Reason, and then just do your audio in Live which would be far and beyond anything that the Prop's would be able to do in the Next version of Reason.
Live's strength is Audio (Midi is pretty good now too) and Reason's is the modules. Great Combo.

This has been burning away at the back of my mostly empty little brain for months, and now I simply must know -- how the heck do you, ttoz, intend "ttoz" to be pronozzed? Erm, pronounced, that is?
Tee Tee Oh Zee? Tee Tee Oz? Tuh-toz? Melanie Fabrice Latham? None of the above (please specify)?
Meffy
P.S.: Wondering about "pronozzed?" Here's where it came from:
A girl who weighed many an oz
Used language I shall not pronoz.
Her brother one day
Yanked her chair right away --
He wanted to see if she'd boz.

As for arpeggiation, you can do similar things using Matrix. But not the sort of stuff a full-powered arp can do.
It's one of the top requests, not counting ___, _____ __, and ____ ___. That is to say, one of the top requests that might actually be added to a future version.
[edit] Concerning your nick: Ah! Thank you. I knew oz had to = Australia. The rest I couldn't guess at. :-)

My favorite part is waiting 2 years for a minor upgrade!kodama wrote:My fave parts of Reason are the CVs, Spiders, NN-XT (easiest sampler ever!), Scream, and the Vocoder.
Wish they were VSTs
