Rhodes emulations?

I haven't seen any mention of the Arturia electrics here yet, so I think they're worth mentioning as well.

Not mentioned likely because they are quite bad.
Lounge lizard does a far better modeling job. Haven't heard pianoteq electrics but I'd assume the same for those.

I remember using a wurli preset from Lounge lizard in a bar beside a real wurli and nobody could tell the difference. Only played that for a minute though because the real wurli had just one preset while I had everything in my hard drive haha.

Yeah I don't love the xln electric either, though they do always have cool sound design presets. NI ones are fine but not the most character.

Arturia made some improvements in the latest Rhodes model, but still not as good as sampled ones I don't think. The wurli is just plain bad though. So muffled next to other ones.

Arturia presets seem more geared to actual use in pop/rock standards though. If you're doing gigs of that nature, it's a great way to go.
