The Eternal Destiny Soundset contains such a titanic amount of epic presets, only an equally epic name can do it justice - Eternal Destiny, containing 770 amazing presets for the Serum synthesizer from Xfer and is suitable for any contemporary electronic and ambient music genres. It also includes over 400 wavetables, full of epic glory, meticulously crafted and imported into serum. It includes a wide variety of presets spread out in many categories, including, basses, leads, pads, keys, plucks, sequences, soundscapes, and FX. Serum's Noise oscillators also aided in layering breathtaking soundscapes and floating keys within the soundset as well.
This is basically the most glorious, epic sounding soundset my mortal imagination can drum up, utilizing all the soundset skills at my disposal. I had an amazing blast in designing this bank, being constantly surprised with the high quality results when importing wavetables and with the super high quality of effects in the plugin itself.
There is an optional deluxe version which includes a Studio One project file of the audio used in the video showcase - over 90 minutes of live synth instances with automation, with dozens of MIDI files.
SOUNDSET DESCRIPTION
The Eternal Destiny Soundset for Serum contains 770 patches for electronic music of any kind, including ambient genres. The majority of patches are assigned to the modulation wheel. Serums workflow is a sound designer's dream! Because it was so easy to assign modulation depths and due to the unique way the LFO's were implemented, it was very easy to add even the subtlest modulations. Thus, a lot of the pad patches are what I'd call "subtlety complex". There is a lot of movement, but in small and gracefully evolving modulation. Serum's Noise oscillators also aided in layering breathtaking soundscapes and floating keys within the soundset as well.
The samples used to create the wavetables include plucks and bass sounds from other synths, software and hardware, to a near 1 to 1 sound thanks to the method I used to import. I first import the sample into phaseplant and then export the wavetable then import this bank into Serum. It does away with nearly any tweaking the sample size import number. It’s nearly flawless and works every time - voices, instruments, like piano’s, clarinets, duduks, even complex soundscapes and speaking and SFX were imported as unique wavetables.
Most interestingly of all the unique content, were the sky sounds I extracted from various video sources around the world, cleaned up, then imported back into serum to use as a source to create new sounds. These sounds are mysterious, nobody really knows the source of these sounds, perhaps biblical, or perhaps a means of deception from either humans or interdimensional beings (fallen angels), nevertheless, the sounds, if being supernatural, are of intellectual and perhaps spiritual interest. About 40 patches utilize the sky sounds. The majority are from good old fashioned synth and natural sources .
