I have a DAW because I have ideas of my own to execute.
there are things I use that involve a level of machine learning, like Neutron 3 dynamic processing but things like the Jammer by SonicCouture or the things I set up in Absynth that get wild are generative enough for me. I like surprises and unpredictable at times. I don't think I'm the kind of brain to set up elaborate machinations in advance to achieve specific results tho. I did do a Frippertronics-type setup in school many years ago, that does "generate" sound in a way that is not availed in any discrete control M.O. I don't need a machine to fabricate a tune, that seems weak to me.

I have yet to find a single Song made by AI that I like. I'm surprised how many people take AI for Music so seriously, most sounds like pure garbage.
