Sad state of Native Instruments

I updated to Access 2 and then discovered it has logged me out but I have maybe 5 logins for NI and none of them work. Komplete works, but if I use an NI vst it wants a serial number or for me to open Service Center, which it can't find. Because it doesn't exist anymore. When I reset my password, that doesn't even work.

I bought UVI Falcon last week and my god is it powerful and fun to play with which is something I have never said about Kontakt which I now mostly avoid because it’s so slow to load and half the time can’t find my samples. Then good luck creating something fun and creative with it.
I have stopped using all of my NI stuff because any of the fun stuff stopped working with Silicon and if I want sound library stuff like Hypha I’ll just use Arturia stuff.

Anyway, if you’re looking for something fun check out the new Falcon while it’s on sale. Not simple but it can do a lot.

should be the same log in as your account at native's website. when NI and Izotope combined or whatever.. both sites and both software portals logged me out and wouldn't remember my password. one of them forced me to make reset the password.. then all was well.. then a few weeks later izotope's product portal wouldn't autofill my account info when i launched it.. so i had to manually type it in which is no big deal. but it's weird. NI Native Access 2 remembers account details.

if you still can't log in you should def email NI and get in the support line for getting it sorted out. i'm sure you're not the only one having issues.

I tried that. I can't even ;log in to the forum. I'm getting emails from NI so I know they have my email. I spent a whole hour Sunday trying to fix this before I was done with it. I guess I'll start over again today.'

Is there some way to clear some cache that is responsible for images and sound previews and stuff? There seems to be a random assortment of stuff with no previews or that won't show the image even though I knownits there because it's in the same place as on my other computer where thenimages show fine (third party nks). Many if the audio previews missing are NI though. When I open the nks preset file location there is no previews folder ( as there sometimes is) bit it's the same on mynold computer where the previews work so I don't know where they are kept.

I've reinstalled or Uninstaller and reinstalled but doesn't make a difference.

I figured part of it out. I have to use Reaktor 6 to use any NI synths like Razor or Monark even though I only have a license for v5. So I guess I just can't update. Still am not pleased that Access logged me out and I keep passwords in a place I can't get to when it wants a login. Plus, why no copy/paste? How you seen some of the passwords Google spits out?

Anyone with a license for Monark or Razor or any Reaktor Player ensembles can use Reaktor 6 player for those.

What I'm saying is I don't have the Reaktor 6 upgrade, so naturally I reach for v5. The licenses are updated to work in Reaktor Player 6, but when I'm not thinking and try and put them in Reaktor 5 that's when I get the Can't find Service Center message.
Why they won't also work in v5 is a mystery since it should be backwards compatible. (Or the license should have been updated unless this is just planned obsolescence by NI)

Found another cool free library but loading in Kontakt with a white messed up GUI ..

And why 2 Kontakt versions ..? Why such a clunky messy interface ..?

Just use Monark, Razor and other player ensembles in Reaktor 6 Player, and use Reaktor 5 for your own things.

has there always been advertising in native access?

i just launched and noticed their "Cyber Season" sale ad on the left panel. maybe there's always been an ad and i had tuned it out visually.. but i can't recall seeing the space there used for ads.

Yeah I saw that too. With a bit of luck we'll see Google adverts there in the not to distant future.

Also made me wonder the other day.
I think its a matter of what role native access is supposed to play.
If it is supposed to become some kind of "steam for plugins", we'll see much more in that direction.

Not happy about advertising in a software manager though ...
