Sonitex absolutely needs a reboot! It was a ridiculously unique and awesome plugin!

There is a general way to bypass or AB individual sections throughout the plugin. That is to right-click knobs to toggle between their default/off position and the last active setting. So for the extra bands, you could right-click the Gain knob or the filter type dropdown to bypass, and right-click again to set it back to your last setting.dolomick wrote: Wed Nov 01, 2023 2:59 am One thing maybe I missed is a quick one-click way to disable the extra EQ bands? Like how the main EQ bands can be easily bypassed.

This plug-in is amazing. If you gave me the choice between this plug-in or basically any piece of hardware in existence (and I couldn’t resell it lol) I would probably choose this plug-in. It sounds great, but the ease of use and versatility are insane, it has replaced a lot of stuff in my sessions and saved me a ton of time. Maybe I’m in the honeymoon phase, but I doubt it.
It’s making me really think hard about all the money I spent on hardware. Life would be a lot simpler if I could go totally itb for mixing and mastering, and I’m thinking if a few more plugins this good come out it would be a done deal. Just do yourself a favor and get this one, $150 is an absolute steal for what it does.

I sing and write myself as a hobby. My main instrument is an acoustic guitar. When you parallel comp the guitar track with the new SMC 2B on a bus, you get a certain sound. A warmth that I tried to replicate with several plugins and failed to even come close. I just used the acoustic guitar preset and tweaked it a little. It’s a beautiful sound. I didnt want to buy the SMC because it’s so pricey.
I don’t know why I decided to try the Michelangelo but I’m really glad I did. It is actually able to make it sound more warm and beautiful. It required some tweaking in the advanced section though. But I highly recommend this plugin. And I’m not even a professional. I just love music.

I feel like RC-20 Retro Color by XLN Audio tried to copy Sonitex, and then a bunch of other companies jumped on the bandwagon with more Sonitex clones, but none of them got it quite right if you ask me (which no one did).

I really like this, it's quite pricy even with the loyalty discount + intro price but I bit the bullet.
I like the creamy saturation and not harsh at all, and my favorite definitely the 150Hz EQ curve, it is done just right, and it adds quite a bit of the body to the master without getting the bloominess, just one knob. this alone make the purcahse worthwhile to me.

Sonitex has a special place in my heart for sure. Nothing is planned atm, but I wouldn't say that's it yetHavok wrote: Mon Oct 30, 2023 8:34 pm Apologies for the OT Rune, but is there any plan to revisit Sonitex in the future, or is that it for the plugin?
