Hi I recently upgraded from a 2018 iMac to a 2022 Mac Studio M1. Logic is so slow with constant system overloads and full of glitches.
-Small projects take forever to open.
-Plugins sometimes automatically dont open anymore when inserting them
-Plugins do this weird stutter/pause glitch to where I can only see the very top left window for seconds before it finally opens
-After project opens, plugins are greyed out for several minutes before finally being able to open them
-I get this error constantly/everytime I change buffer settings(See 2nd pic in dropbox link)
-I get constant system overloads even with small projects on 1024 buffer. Even happens when most tracks are frozen
Here are some screenshots of the errors as well as a small project that gets constant overloads. PLS HELP

have you updated all your plug ins? update to latest version of logic?
no problems here on 2021 macbook pro M1 max. but you need to update your plug ins. run it in rosetta 1 time and let it scan all your plug ins.. then run it natively and the behind the scenes compatibility app will run when using any non-native plug ins..
but you should update all your plug ins to latest versions.

I have a bizarre issue with slow project loading (which began specifically post version 10.4.7), and Apple support haven't been of any use (so far).
Ventura is known to have fundamental audio problems. Sonoma is better, though I still get fairly consistent AU instability errors in Logic.
It's a weird state of affairs when both Apple's own software and their plugin format work extremely poorly compared to VST. I have no such issues using VST plugins in Reaper or Waveform.
Every day takes figuring out all over again how to f#ckin’ live.

Definitely sounds like an AU issue. I get an error about an AU causing a problem, but Logic doesn't say which one or show it in the manager. All the third party plug-ins are validated with the exception of a couple from RX10. I recover and everything seems okay. I don't use Logic very often so I can't help much more than that.

I don’t know if this has been mentioned but not all plugins are updated for Ventura or Sonoma on Apple Silicon.
