Thinking about Seventh Heaven(69$ version not Professional :) cause it's replica of famous hardware unit, friendly gui, great sound - if somebody have experience with it or if replace it with something better, please share something.
I use Nimbus (plus R2,R4 ) mainly, they have natural and musical sound, but need to add something else, not sure what exactly i miss - color,space,distance....?!
So,is there any alternatives of Seventh Heaven in 50-60 eu/us range ,which worth it?
Black Friday is coming... some miracle discounts will b available for sure, last year bought bunch of super sweet fx and first thing i'm gonna buy this year is a nice reverb, not sure what i need actually, but will add at least one new.
Please share ideas or experience.
Thanks.

No idea about Seventh Heaven, but, NI Raum is very good, and, you can get it completely for free with Komplete Start.

That said, it really depends on your use cases. I find reverb effects highly dependant on the source material, and kind of music you want to create. E.g., I also find the Exponential Audio reverbs you mentioned pretty classy, but, I just don't use them much, because they don't fit very good with the music or sounds I do.

Thanks for the note, will check it :)I use some tricks i develop for more massive sound with extra tracks as layers, but fine reverb is irreplaceable for commercial production.
Nimbus is amazing invisible reverb, but r2,r4 have something artificial to my taste in the tail i don't like and wanna replace it with something else.
Cheers :)

Valhalla reverbs are very popular and widely used for many good reasons. Fabfilter Pro-R is also very popular and v2 was just released today with some excellent improvements and additions. UVI Plate and Sparkverb are also excellent, but probably not as popular and widely used as Valhalla and Fabfilter.

Vortifex wrote: Thu Nov 02, 2023 3:14 pm Just going by my own experience in some producer communities I'd say Valhalla Vintage Verb is the most popular by quite some margin.
I watched some comparison videos, can't remember details, but Room was pointed as superb...have to check them definitely, before to lose my mind with discounted stuff ,which may not be best choice hihihihihi :)
I ve got a lot of reverbs, which was released temporally for free in time, but some of them sounds so cheap and artificial, haven't even install since first time.
So yeah Valhalla vs SH is the first serious battle.
Have money for both actually, but already so many fx i don't use or like, just don't wanna spend for something i'm not gonna use.
Cheers :)

A lot of Hit Records were made using VVV they say.

Need it for commercial tracks - house, pop, hiphop,EDM vast spectrum of genres so vvv is definitely contender :)Yeah :)

What "kind" of reverb are you looking for? I love those early digital verbs like the 224/480, so anything in that wheelhouse is great for me. I find many modern, clean verbs as lacking character (like Nimbus for example) and being a bit boring sounding. I really like the sound of the new QRS emulation from Savant. Even more so than their other Quantec emulation. Springs and Plates are also reverb, don't seem to be what you're looking for.

It would be super helpful and yield better results if posts for plugin recommendations went something like this...

"I make [insert genre] music. I'm looking for a [type of FX] plugin. Other FX plugins of this type I've used and liked are [names of similar plugins you've liked]. Plugins I've tried and don't like are [names of those plugins]. I'm looking for a plugin that will [describe the sound you're looking for]. My price range is [price range]. My other requirements include [name requirements]."

...then of course, people will completely ignore all that anyway and just list every reverb under the sun. Which is what I think will happen here.
