Been living with aliasing plugins since 1996. :?

Yes of course, but did they alias enough?
No band limits, aliasing is the noise of freedom!

Not all. :?

we need more crisp, bit crusher on the master at all times
aliasing plugin owner
:?

A bit-crusher fx unit is included indeed...

But not to be used all the times : the Device is able to also imitate the sound of acoustic instruments and in this case you want to stay clean (= no bitcrush).

Can it do bell stuff too?

Post

Yes, it can do that - but in general, from a spectral approach, FM is more suitable for bell-like tones (= it's easier to produce bell-like with FM synthesis).

This Device can do bells, music boxes, toy pianos etc. thanks to the aliasing overtones produced by its original oscillator block and thanks to its analogue filter (a very uncommon analogue filter, I don't think this *specific* filter has ever been used in a software/hardware product before).

As discussed above, here's Example E audio demo for a percussive, bell-like preset.

Remember : everything you listen here is produced by *the sole aliasing* energy generated from two 7-bit sine waves.

Here's a quick draft of the device UI - its look and feel reminds of 1980s microcomputers :

:D Man, this thing sounds EVIL!

Sounds pretty cool, looking forward to demoing it
A well-behaved signature.

One of the ideas in my "VST Synth Ideas" document is this exact concept :(.

Although it has nothing to do with vintage hardware.

Hey,

I'm completing the factory presets library, making audio demos, writing the user manual (and all the 1000s small things required when launching a new product). I also prepared a couple of diagrams to be shown here (later on) in order to explain how it works internally, under the hood.

Patches programming is very linear and intuitive for end users - but at first one has to firmly understand what is really happening inside the Device.

I’m really looking forward to this one. Your demos on SoundCloud are excellent. All very interesting 👍

Is it a plugin for creating own sounds, too?
