It worked for me on both pc and apple silicon in cubendo 13.
Without issue on mac but on pc i has to do it twice, there is a pop up window without text beyond an ok button that showed up on pc.

Hmm... I had an error "wrong username".... maybe it just doesn't work with the e-mail address? (I didn't test it with the username). Well, it finally worked through the website.

Tested - yes they migrate fine including automationandy-cytomic wrote: Fri Nov 03, 2023 8:01 amI'm pretty sure it should work, but please give it a go with a test project to make sure it works for you.
Only thing is saved projects seem to revert to the 100% size, size must be saved with the project; is it possible to set a default size regardless of what was saved in projects (otherwise I just have to go back and resave everything)?

i had some authorization issues too. w/the drop specifically. it wouldn't let me auto authorize w/the account email/user name so i used the challenge response method which worked instantly.. just had to drag the file to the plug in gui.
then the scream and the glue did the auto authorization w/account login w/o any problems. no idea why this happened.

I have just been messing around with The Drop. Is there a way to make the envelopes snappier? Would be great to have variable curves at least for decay settings. LFOs are lovely, audio rate and all. Very well done.

Sorry about the trouble, and yes that is super weird since that code path is identical between all plugins so there should be no difference at all.dayjob wrote: Fri Nov 03, 2023 8:34 pm i had some authorization issues too. w/the drop specifically. it wouldn't let me auto authorize w/the account email/user name so i used the challenge response method which worked instantly.. just had to drag the file to the plug in gui.

The envelopes are analog models of those in the Moog Taurus, and are based on a twin diode network that gives a distinctive and smoothly dynamic result. They can run off audio input or trigger inputs and are really versatile. What is not possible is variable curve, or changing the slow "bottom most" section of the decay slope, they are analog models and do what they do.wvshpr wrote: Sat Nov 04, 2023 6:32 pm I have just been messing around with The Drop. But there is a very powerful workaround to allow for arbitrary signals to be used as a modulation source. Route DC coupled audio to the secondary input (SC) of The Drop and you can use any modulation source you want, and control as many of the regular destinations as you want. Use the FM button in the bottom right, and select SC as the input, then this signal can be routed using the FM source in the modulation section. I recommend grabbing VCV Rack, or Silent Way, or any other such plugin so you can add as many additional envelopes, LFOs, step sequencers, and a plethora of other modulation sources that generate DC coupled audio and route that to The Drop to get exactly what you are after.

Update: The Drop Beta v1.8.1 is out. There was a bug with text entry for all knobs in the modulation depth section in the middle which would cause a crash which is now fixed.

Is this a separate skin for The Drop? I couldn´t find a way to load it.
This is how my instance of the plugin looks like when I open the editor:

Ugly rings within the buttons, a cheap background, no shading of the individual elements

Ah ok, thanks. Didn´t notice that. Somehow it looks a bit better then the current one but still.. I really don´t like this GUI. The new one has more knobs if you look closely.enCiphered wrote: Tue Nov 07, 2023 10:10 amAh ok, thanks. Didn´t notice that. Somehow it looks a bit better then the current one but still..
