Youll argue of course that those are just bundles. But new instruments or effects are new features to new versions of the bundle and theyre not free. Yeah Pigments has been free. Here's the facts:

- new plugins: full price or bundle upgrade
- (at least partial) rewrites: small (as compared to Fabfilter) upgrade fee
- updates: Free

And there's of course many point upgrades too

Timeless 3 sounds very good. It may require a bit of time, but since i bought it, i replaced ReplicaXT that was by far the best delay for me (and it's ofc still very good)

School me. I have Replika XT and I don’t think Timeless 3 comes close to the vintage mode in XT. I mean there is no vintage digital mode like in R2, only a bitcrusher. I find timeless has that tipical Fabfilter inhouse plasticky aound. I would like to like it though because R2 is nice. Sorry for OT

I think you may be a bit stuck with labels. You can make Timeless 3 as "vintage" as you want. You can get all the wobble, limited frequency response, weird disturbing noise etc as you want. You just need to know how to do it. There is no magic button to press to get you that or any "modes" to select.

Have you explored the presets? I've made tons of them that could be considered "vintage" sounding. Heck, I even duplicated some pretty unique features of the Lexicon PCM42 stuttering and doing the strange reverse diffuse thing.

I guess I will try my luck south Black Friday... There are current and avenger 2 to consider also....

Will this one substantially improve the reverb in your mixes, or even sound noticeably different from the reverbs you already have?

Perhaps do a sober A/B comparison of this reverb to one you already have in an existing mix.

Good advice. I actually don't own much reverbs, neoverb from izotope and kilohearts convolution....
