In 2012/2013 I collected 1831 freeware synthesizers. It is now 2021 and many of the freeware synthesizers are no longer available. Many websites no longer exist, some manufacturers have stopped production or replaced them with new products. So here the "backup" download, is an archive of all freeware synthesizers up to 2012. My thanks go to all creative minds who made the virtual software synthesizer possible.

I have these and a lot won't work. One won't work at all. The UI's are a also a problem. One will play but I can't manipulate it.
I'm in FL so I found if you get a wonked UI just Minimize the Bridge window, then restore it. Worked 99% of the time.

Hi @Osiris, I use in Window 10 / 64 bit, for all old 32 bit plugins, an old version of " Image Line - FL Studio v11.1.1 - 32 bit version.

Try to use the 32 bit version of FL Studio, otherwise the (still) free DAW " BandLab - Cakewalk " https://www.bandlab.com/products/cakewalk is also very helpful. Cakewalk - Sonar bridget automatically.

So it's best to have your own DAW for older 32 bit plugins.
Windows 7 / 64 bit is of course the problem solver.

Cool angular momentum are good ones too. I still use reaper 32 bit and it bridges 64 bit plugins and i use the xlutop vst3 to vst2 plugin for vst3s.
