Great track...take a bow....

Really good stuff :tu:

That's what we need more of here at KVR....

Less talk, less BS and more music 🌟✨🌞
Thanks! I had fun doing it and enjoyed the challenge

Beta 3! Great to hear about it.

I've been creating some sounds.
The limitation on EG automation/control disables half of my BCR2000 labelled controls tfor hardware edit. But anyway, I think it's a good start point. FX makes easier to get better results, and work really fine.

I honestly wish there was pulse width modulation.

There is, in the lower pane.

Can’t you get PWM by using PM on a square wave by a saw wave?

This has been discussed earlier in this thread. You can achieve it by mixing two sawtooth waves with 180 degrees phase offset relative to each other, one of them inverted, then modulating the phase of either using an LFO. See attached preset for your convenience.

Note that this is neither a hack nor workaround, but just an explicit realization of how PWM is implemented in most other synths under the hood (both software and hardware).

I should probably add this point to the FAQ.

Happy to report 3.0b3 doesn't crash Cubase Pro 12 any more.
Great work and some cool presets !! Hot synth.

Not sure if it was suggested but perhaps a LCD type screen with info or tips on buttons where the mouse is would be useful in order to get some of the features for us non-wizards.
More presets would be nice.
Midi learn

Seriously well done, I hope lots of people make music they love with it.

Well, analog synths usually put the sum of the saw-wave and PWM control signal through a comparator instead.. but the differences between the two methods (eg. resulting DC offsets are different, comparator could also have hysteresis or latching behaviour) are not terribly important unless you're trying to match a specific analog synth (and it can be implemented with BLEPs in an anti-aliased fashion), but you're right that in digital synths not trying to specifically emulate some analog gear, the inverted-copy with a phase-offset is probably more common 'cos it works with things like wavetables (where as the comparator approach really only works with saw/triangle input to produce regular pulse-waves).

It'd be useful to have a "dual inverted sawtooth" oscillator whose phase control created a PWM effect. allowing for PWM+PD/RING/FM in the same oscillator pair.

I tried to put all the presets in a single folder using category, username & preset name & I've found that the text overlaps in the preset browser. It seems to have a fixed lentgh for the text.

Is there no sustain pedal support?

Yes, column width is fixed, so better keep the preset name to a reasonable length. On the long term, I have planned improvements to the preset browser like nested folders and metadata, which should make naming patterns like you suggested obsolete. Until then, it might be a good idea to move any redundant info like username or category into the folder name, like "[User] Leads".

Also, as someone mentioned earlier in the thread, scroll bars are currently missing, so the number of presets shown per folder is limited, as is the number of folders...

You mean MIDI CC 64 ? It is supported and working here. That being said I think I just found a bug in the "Legato" voice allocation mode related to the Sustain pedal, so thanks for the heads up :)
