Hi guys,I already did some research, but got left a little curious. Its obviously a cover by the famous Cher song "Believe".
It was released by Soave Records. Copyright in Spotify info goes to Cher and Soave Records. I think they re-recorded the vocals by a different Artist, they didnt use the original Vocal by Cher.
Could you release that kind of song by yourself via Distrokid etc. if you re-record the vocals? Does it count as a "Cover"? Or do u need further clearing from the original artist, producer, writers, label?
Anyone got some experience with that kind of stuff?
