If you have the email with your V1 license key, click the download link in that email and it will show you an upgrade option. If you don't have that email I assume support can send you a new one.Igro wrote: Wed Nov 08, 2023 4:52 pm Nice. But how to upgrade? I cannot find a "login" button anywhere to see the offer.
What's your 'go to' distortion/saturation plugins?

I received an email from them and used the link. There is no user area. You need you r user id and key number they sent when you bought v1.Igro wrote: Wed Nov 08, 2023 4:52 pmNice. Excellent tool for moderate to extreme mayhem.

Did not know that, thanks for letting me know. I guess it's better, but I kinda miss the default look. Dark mode with bright white side panels is a bit dizzying.

I don't have that one but I have that same hard-to-describe reaction when I put Lindell 80 on channels, even before making any changes from the default. I really should try out my other console plugins more, I went on a bit of a spree and have a few of them. Lindell 80 has by far gotten the most use--the others are mostly SSL variations and I guess maybe I tend toward the Neve sound.VELLTONE MUSIC wrote: Wed Nov 08, 2023 5:44 pm imho nothing is better that console saturation, for exampe just loading bx_console AMEK 9099 and immediately gives some sparks and quality to the sound,no idea how they do it,but all other saturators, exciters so on i've tried so far are not even close to realism of good console emulations.

Any Logic users have thoughts on the new-ish stock plugin Chromaglow?
When I really think about it, damn there's a lot of distortion/saturation options in Logic (and probably most DAWs) considering they are there on compressors, phat fx, some eqs and so on--but no idea how they measure up to many of the big 3rd party options mentioned in this thread.
And I always forget I have a few in Komplete, and likely a bunch buried somewhere in Reaktor....

It seems, that every console have mojo, some better, other worse and have to check it in your mix.Stokely wrote: Tue Sep 24, 2024 2:39 pmI don't have that one but I have that same hard-to-describe reaction when I put Lindell 80 on channels, even before making any changes from the default. For example i adore bx 9000j hardware realism, but prefer gentle saturation of amek 9099 in most cases where saturation is enough.
On pure material 9000j is more realistic and used by default, but when start to apply more complex fx chain modules, amek sit better.
The rigth saturation is hard to be find with only one tool,so experiment with everything.
Like tape saturation on bass or multuband distortion on plucks,pads,keys...most original sound is mostly unexpected, think out of the box.
