Maybe that's why I was logged out of Access. My lappy can be quite treacherous if it detects adware.

If they add ads to native access we are just a few years away to see it in the plugin itself, you will open Massive X and there would be an ad for a new expansion.

I would expect massive (-_-') backlash if they pulled that move on their main synths, but you never know^^
I dont mind it in native access though, its not like that thing is used very often.

Kontakt 7.7 has a "New Instruments For You" section at the bottom of the main browser. It's an ad taking you to the webshop. And you can't entirely get rid of it either - it collapses to just the headline, but that still takes up pointless space.

I'm still using the side pane mode, because many third parties simply don't show up in the new browser. added bonus, no ads bar.
