Well then you missed the whole point of this topic.
Let me quote myself from the very beginning of this topic:
The vast majority of the greatest hits in popular music were created way before the invention of digital instruments.
:hihi:
I didn't miss it, I just chose to ignore it to make a better one.

You are just a kid trapped in Plato ideas about purity and essence. Same as other purists kids who feel so special with their "not mainstream" perspective.

Which is why I am not posting any more examples. You like AOR; I find it overproduced, bland and boring. tastes differ.

Ok, you win, I'm convinced. I'm ditching my VST/AAX instruments altogether.

You can find them all up for sale in the Buy & Sell forum, check them out!

My beloved brethren of the KVR community, behold the tidings of joy! :wheee:

Bippo hath proclaimed his Musical Commandments unto us:

* Thou shalt not use virtual instruments.
* Thou shalt not use sample libraries.
* Thou shalt not commit the sin of listening to modern music.
* Thou shalt not tolerate even one millisecond of latency.
* Thou shalt not use unholy quantization.
* Thou shalt not use MIDI which is the devil's own protocol.
* Thou shall worship The Beatles and Pink Floyd and have no other gods before them.
* Thou shall use no more than one guitar and one external keyboard.

Commit them to your heart and walk in the righteous path of musical virtue.

Well, the last couple of pages has me wondering what is considered "modern" music by our various members on this thread. If it's just a semantic of "recent" or some new avant garde genre...
Seriously always looking for great imaginative artists and not just "lifestyle" influencers.
It's been about two years since I've bought anyone "new" and I'm not really sure I would call them modern per se.

I remember the joy of buying CDs at HMV. The good old days.
