There's no such thing as a "free" Waves plugin.
You always pay sooner or later. And then you pay again, and again, and again...

Dunno, never paid for an upgrade to either of them. Arturia and NI have given out some holiday freebies over the years and can't recall ever having to pay to keep them up to date afterwards.martinjuenke wrote: Sat Nov 11, 2023 6:26 amHow do they call the regular payments for upgrades over there at Bitwig, Ableton etc?

It's a nice plugin, i think people will enjoy it, expecially if they don't still have the other paid alternatives from other companies

It is a free plugin but a month after the release they will release the big brother with a few more knobs. Only 29$ for a short while. Until the next time you can buy it again for 29$. Waves tactic is super obvious.jamcat wrote: Sat Nov 11, 2023 4:24 am There's no such thing as a "free" Waves plugin.

You are free to choose - plus, most obviously - just about every plugin vendor does the same (with the exception of Valhalla and maybe a handfull of others...)Daimonicon wrote: Sun Nov 12, 2023 2:38 pmIt is a free plugin but a month after the release they will release the big brother with a few more knobs.jamcat wrote: Sat Nov 11, 2023 4:24 am There's no such thing as a "free" Waves plugin.
