zplane elastique pitch is one of my fav, very good real time pitch shifter, other one very good is Flux Trax
i also have Standalone pitch shifter and time stretcher, it is amazing for sound design - Ircam TS

How is it in comparison to Flux Trax ?
150ms latency is high for my uses !
is fluxtrax better? (while fluxtrax is above my budget under normal conditions)

i have it (bought) but its unauthorised on my new PC. Can´t find my license details, though.
I never could make too much friendship with it on my old PC.
It felt halfbaked. Maybe there was no midi mapping ? and other stiff felt halfassed too.
I payed $99, not just $49

Octavox is slept on for some reason, but it's amazing. It has a live mode as well with only 8 samples of latency. Not cheap, but the four voice version Quadravox is regularly given away for free if you keep an eye out for it.

But i´d suspect its not the same for the type of creative uses i had in mind.
Point is the CC mapping and realtime jammability.
Octavox is a great Delay plugin ! never tryed it on creative uses, though.

I also like Inner Pitch by Auburn Sounds which offers pretty good pitch and formant shifting for the price ($30 for the full version, free edition with reduced feature set).
And of course there is also the slightly aged Little AlterBoy by Soundtoys.

Haha, the sleep continues. You can get pretty creative with the pitch/delay and MIDI note tracking in Octavox, but it sounds like you might be looking for something more like Manipulator, which gets even weirder and has deeper MIDI capabilities https://polyversemusic.com/downloads/ma ... Magic Pitch by GS DSP is really interesting. You can do spectral pitch and/or frequency shifting. GS DSP were involved with the development FRQ SHift by Tonstrum.

Spectral shifting allows you to pitch or frequency shift different parts of a sound based on it's spectrum. It's a really wild effect. You have a huge amount of modulators to work with. You can even use a camera as a modulator!

for realtime I tend to use zplane Elastique pitch or their retune. Reaper has Elastique Pitch built in I think. I also use the Waves one and the Eventide Octavox. Or Pitchmap (the new Pitchmap Colors is very good for live )

out of everything i tried i gotta say Manipulator has the lowest latency and very decent tracking.
octa/quadravox deosn't do format shifting so everything is chipmunky

audiodamage discord is great for creative stuff but straight up shifting is not the best.

there's also melda MUnison and MHarmonizer, Grailion and the new Auburn thingie
