that's not his point!
even you, who sits at home alone creating the political rock protest dirges, you need to get a few friends in, and jam the songs out!
music is then valid.

i think blippo doesn't realise, bach and the like, often sat alone, scoring music (while throwing eggs at his cleaner [or that may have been ludwig van, i get my powdered wigs mixed up])
has never heard of tin pan alley either...
But but but but what would Robert Johnson or Ewan MacColl say??
I mean in the original argument, Northern Uproar are brilliant music, but, like you say, Mozart isn't.
im just explaining, definitely not agreeing :o
northern uproar, the shame of the north :hihi:

Oh I know - I was trying (and failing!) not to imply that.

I've seen Northern Uproar live. They were rubbish.

We should still abolish the sinthesiser. :hihi:

I could get some lackeys in and tell them what play instead of doing it myself. We could (in the phrase of Brian Clough) have a full and frank discussion and decide that I'm right.

Easier just to bring down the tooooories on me own I think...

Do you really NEED your second ear?
Stereo causes all kinds of problems.

Less is more.

Well, they do release 5g into the brains of users

Do we really need music or the traffic noise outside is enough?

nice "blue-white" stereo noise ;) :D

that's why i'm thinking seriously of releasing my next album in 2 versions, one for 2 ears people and people who like headphones,... another for those special full mono, phase inverted, 2 cabled sets of speakers sound systems.

Naturally the full mono version is to be more expensive, if people only knew the extra work to make ping-pong and slapback delays sound right in mono.... :phones: it's easier with dual mono but for full mono takes skill....

Because members of this forum has become addicted to chasing after vsts instead of actually stick to one and learn its inside out and creating some music.

Just now I saw a new thread titled "Anything new from Spectrasonics this year? Maybe an upcoming soundset?"

WHY THE FK YOU NEED ANOTHER SOUNDSET WHEN OMNISPHERE ALREADY HAS MORE THAN 14,000 SOUNDS AND I BET YOU COULDN'T RECOGNIZE MORE THAN 200 OF THEM EVEN IF YOUR LIFE WERE DEPENDENTT ON IT FFS :dog: :dog: :dog: :dog:

That’s fine and I agree. But you’re criticizing the very practice of using VST’s at all, and also the practice of sitting in front of a computer to make music, which is exactly what 100% of us are doing.

Are you sure it is not you who have become addicted to hw and has turned into a HW Snob that is the problem?

Again. You don't need to go into Vst Bezerk shopping mode if you want to have a limited and focused setup (Just buy what you need and be happy) ;)

OP: Should we ditch plugins?
Reply: You’re asking this on a forum dedicated to plugins. You’re trolling right?
OP: Well, if you don’t think that making music is more creative than collecting plugins, I don’t know what to say.

This is a Motte-and-bailey fallacy
