Cool story bro. :tu:
Thank you

I really do wish people talked more about reverbs. Such an underrated topic
Some plugin developers wish the same thing… go figure it.

In the last two weeks I've noticed a surge in reverb-related discussions in this forum as well as a revival of reverbs discussion in GS’s deals thread. I can't help but wonder if it's coincidental or intentionally sparked on behalf of a developer who would like to enjoy better sales of their new reverb. It does raise some suspicion upon initial observation.

Two established/respected developers have released new reverbs within days of each other, so I'm not sure any conspiracy is needed for that to spark a few people revisiting at their options!

Marketing isn’t a conspiracy in the true sense of the word.

Looks like first sales aren’t going as well as expected with so many great reverbs in an over-saturated reverb market.

With so many great high tier reverbs it’s almost impossible to not have a favorite or two. Selecting a reverb is a highly personal choice. What sounds good for me might sound bad for you.

I LOVE the Relab LX480, excellent plugin. I also have come to appreciate the Capitol Chambers from UAD. Valhalla is also great.

Airwindows KPlate series is also good and free.

VSL and GPU Audio teaming up for Vienna Powerhouse in MIR Pro 3D is pretty exciting news. This really ought to be the future of reverb.

Specifically, physically modeled ray tracing reverbs that harness the ample GPU cores in modern processors (Apple's M3 Max has 40 GPU cores) to place audio sources and room mics within 3-dimensional spaces. MIR uses convolution, but GPUs would be particularly suited for ray tracing reverb reflections within purely modeled spaces.
THIS MUSIC HAS BEEN MIXED TO BE PLAYED LOUD SO TURN IT UP

This thread is about popular reverbs, not good reverbs :?
Yeah, because people like bad reverbs, that's why they are popular
Literally every other week there is a new thread like yours, and it always ends up as a contest where everyone puts the reverb they use.

Now I see you were just trolling.
Just not funny.
