Serious question... Just want to know which reverb I should avoid really.

There are really so many that are just utter shite, but not many that you'd pay a lot of money for. So, it's not really a problem to avoid the bad ones if you just avoid most of the free or cheap ones. Problem is, of course, that there are also some excellent free and/or cheap ones.

Studio One's Room reverb. Waldorf Largo's reverb. Novation V-Station's reverb. Horrible.

Isn't that more an experiment than an actual functional reverb

yeah but it sounds bad, so it made it to the list, it can still be usable though, for weird sound design

Avoid Novation V-Station altogether.

Maybe you just didn't roll on the good sounds it can produce ? It must be able to sound good, that's part of the experiment!

I think the algos in Unfiltered Audio's Tails don't sound great.

A 20 bit ART Multiverb, ca 1992. It was rented, had to print to tape, first time using a multifx, overdid it in grand newbie style. Now, it just sounds shiny.

Well, if we're going hardware, the Peavy Pro-Fex guitar multifex was utter shite. But, it sounded great compared to the GSP5. I thought I was in reverb heaven when I added a DSP128 to my guitar live rig. I added it JUST FOR THE REVERB!
