No. We all know from threads about reverbs that the "best" is dependent on the calendar.

Same as the best reverb in 2023, assuming a long enough RT60.

No. We all know from threads about reverbs that the "best" is dependent on the calendar.

I was thinking more that the DSP will degrade over time or those emulated capacitors might pop and leak over the internet

Some of my reverbs have gone past their expiration date, really hoping 2024 stock will arrive soon.

There's a growing amount of people who tend to use the original fruity loops reverb on everything because it has that vintage 2007 vibe that is so sought after nowadays.
