Guess Savant's QRS lit a fire under them!

Post

Bad timing and too expensive, sorry, I'm already covered.

Post

Tough sell given Savant's is almost half the price and sounds brilliant

Post

I’d been waiting for this one. But after demoing Savant’s QRS model, I’m now not sure I want or need a QRS.

Some audio demos on the site would have been cool, I wanted to hear something...
Does this have the Freeze function?

This reverb is freakin' fantastic. Sound a bit different than the Savant.

I'm lousy at A/B tests but each on a return track in Ableton, default settings, factory program "Concert Hall, Full" the Relab seems to be a little louder making it sound fuller but they're definitely really close.

My loyalty price via Relab is almost the same as Savant's intro, I think I prefer the Savant GUI.

EDIT - misread the email, with loyalty coupon it's still $50 more than Savant's intro price.

I hope it's not better than the Savant Audio one as I don't want to feel like I bought the wrong product.
Relab sure know their reverbs, but they're pricey in the current market, e.g. Sonsig is nice but it lacks features compared to the competition, and there's so much out there to choose from.
Every day takes figuring out all over again how to f#ckin’ live.

It is better than the Savant to listen to and to use.

If I wanted a Quantec I’d get the Relab. If I couldn’t afford it, I’d save up and get the Relab. Why settle for second best?

I buy a reverb for the sound first and features second. Of course the features impact the sound.

SonsigA is $50 on sale and I’d vote for it being the best reverb at that price or lower. At $99 there’s more competition and it hangs right in there but probably not #1.

Relab vs. Savant Audio Labs, for comparison.
The layout of Savant is much closer to the real thing.

Relab doesn't have any audio examples posted, but hopefully someone will do a shootout soon.

Relab made the values easy to read with a darker background, as any decent GUI designer would. Savant ought to sort that out.

I wonder if this will end up in the reverb bundle… Am surprised the discount for bundle owners doesn’t amount to much, only $25 less, but their call. Must be good.
